Mohican State Park
Mohican State Park sits in the middle of Mohican Memorial State Forest it is confusing. However, that said, it is a beautiful area.
The last two times I was here was over a decade ago and stayed in a tent along the river with my wife and daughter. We had a canoe at that time and enjoyed fishing along the river.
This time my wife and I stayed at the Mohican State Park Lodge and Conference Center which is on the west side of Pleasant Hill Lake. The lodge staff was great. The meals were good and affordable. The room was comfortable. This was the second time in my life I ever stayed at a lodge. The first time on my wedding night thirty-one years ago. And that was the day of one of worst blizzards in recent history, which a documentary was created about.
