This site started to as display my photography in Pakistan and Afghanistan during the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan. However, after seeing the work of Erwin Franzen I became aware of the limits of my perspective.

With the help of Wikipedia and others I will try and correct this situation. 

A great deal of effort will be spent on telling the larger story of the Islamic awaking that this war represents.

I welcome all suggestions. If you where part of the conflict I would like to hear from you.
